CLOSING DAY OF YOUTH FESTIVAL IN R.V.S. ACADEMY

R.V.S Academy hosted the Annual Inter School Youth Festival on 31^st August,2019 in the school premises. The festival gives students an opportunity to express their artistic and literary talents. The esteemed schools of the city participated in the gala event. The importance of literary competition in nurturing talent and promoting good will and understanding between students of different institutions is well known.
The School Chairman Mr. Binda Singh, Principal Mrs. Mitali Roy Choudhury, Vice Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra lit the ceremonial lamp.

Story telling is a unique human skill which opens up the vivid imaginations that run wild in children and it also builds confidence and enhances speaking skills. Keeping this in mind the first event of the day Story telling competition was organised for the students of Std. VIII to X, who performed spectacularly narrating their favourite stories using creative props, voice modulation and impressive expressions.

To imbibe the trues spirit of learning and enhance effective communication skills, Extempore speech competition for the students of XI and XII was organised. The students spoke eloquently on varied topics like sports, cyber safety, peer pressure, brain drain etc. It was a great learning experience as the idea was to gather and articulate the thoughts in an innovative way and present them in a well organised manner.

The Principal applauded the immense talent of the participants and congratulated the winners. The School Management laid stress to organize more competitions of this nature to bring out the best in children and spur them on greater achievements in life. Such events build friendship across campuses and widen the understanding and cooperation between students.
