RVS Academy at Dimna Road , Mango, Jamshedpur celebrated its 23rd Annual Prize Nite, a grand event honoring excellence and achievements within its academic community. The evening was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Chairman Mr. Binda Singh, Secretary Mr. Bharat Singh, Treasurer Mr. Shatrughna Singh, Member of Executive Committee Mr. Shakti Singh, Chief Guest Captain Amitabh, Head of Skill Development , Tata Steel, and Guest of Honour Mrs. Mikki Singh, Principal of Chinmaya Vidhyalya, Bistupur, alongside the school’s Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, Vice Principal, Mrs. Anita Tiwari, Coordinators, parents, and students.
The event commenced with the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge. This was followed by a melodious welcome song and an enchanting welcome dance paying homage to Lord Ganesha, the harbinger of auspicious beginnings. Chairman Mr. Binda Singh extended tokens of appreciation to the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, expressing gratitude for their presence and support.
A highlight of the evening was the captivating performance by the school’s youngest talents, who showcased the transition from the old era to the new with remarkable finesse.
The Principal presented a comprehensive school report, underscoring the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
Meritorious students were honored with mementos and certificates, acknowledging their outstanding achievements. Additionally, students with perfect attendance records were recognized for their commendable dedication. The pinnacle of the ceremony was the presentation of the prestigious Chairman’s Award to Vivaan Ghosh of Std 1A and Anushree Giri of Std VI A emerging as the deserving recipients in the junior and senior categories, respectively.
Throughout the evening, attendees were treated to a plethora of cultural performances, each showcasing themes ranging from “Journey Through Time” to “Women Empowerment,” captivating the audience with their creativity and ingenuity. The Medley songs, dances from Hills to Plateau and Down the Memory Lane were well appreciated by the audience.
In his address, the Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh said that, RVS Academy not just celebrates achievements, but the spirit of perseverance and dedication of students and teachers.
