RVS Academy at Dimna Road, Mango, Jamshedpur paid tributes to Rani of Jhansi, Lakshmi Bai, a symbol of woman power, on her death anniversary on Saturday, 18th June, 2022.
On this occasion the Chairman of the school, Mr. Binda Singh, Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, Vice-Principal, Mrs. Anita Tiwari, teachers and students were present. Various Programs were organized in the school remembering the bravery of Rani Laxmi Bai. In these programs, students of classes VI to IX enthralled everyone with attractive poetries, songs, speeches and dance.
The impeccable valor and bravery with which Rani Lakshmi Bai fought in the First War of Independence 1857 against Britishers made her an icon for the freedom struggle of our country and we should take inspiration from her life, said the Chairman of the school Mr. Binda Singh. The Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra also paid tribute to Rani Lakshmi Bai for her selfless sacrifice and said that the struggle for the honour of her motherland till the last breath will always be an inspiration for the people of India.
