RVS Academy hosted its much-anticipated Winter Mela with great enthusiasm on Monday, 23rd December 2024, in the school playground. The event was inaugurated by the Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh, and graced by Mr. Bharat Singh, Secretary; Mr. Shatrughan Sinha, Treasurer; Executive Committee members, including Mr. Shakti Singh, Mr. Saurabh Singh, Mr. Ayushman Singh, Mr. Yuvraj Singh, Ms. Shipra Singh, and other esteemed guests. The Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, was also present to celebrate the occasion.
The school campus came alive with vibrant decorations, bustling stalls, and cheerful laughter. Tiny toddlers enjoyed delightful rides, while visitors explored the Christmas Corner, Mehndi, and Tattoo stations.
The Food Corner was a gastronomic delight, offering a wide variety of delicacies. Popular treats included dosa, golgappa, papdi chaat, hot fritters, chow mein, manchurian, fried rice, cakes, pastries, ice cream, samosas, burgers, sandwiches, pav bhaji, biryani, and mocktails. Guests hopped from one stall to another, relishing the mouthwatering snacks.
The highlight of the event was the Selfie Corner, creatively designed with a superhero theme, which drew enthusiastic crowds eager to capture fun memories. Popular attractions like the Pandora Box, Lucky Dip, and Raffle Draw were a hit, offering exciting prizes and gifts that kept everyone engaged.
Adding to the festive spirit, a Request Corner gave students the opportunity to dance to their favorite songs, creating an atmosphere of pure joy. Chairman Mr. Binda Singh emphasized the importance of such events in fostering a balance between work and fun while building community spirit.
Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra praised the collaborative efforts of teachers and students in organizing the event, which was a resounding success. The Winter Mela 2024 left everyone with cherished memories of a day filled with camaraderie, creativity, and celebration.
