Sport is an activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively. Sports commonly refer to activities where the physical capabilities of the competitor are the sole or primary determinant of the outcome (winning or losing), but the term is also used to include activities such as mind sports (a common name for some card games and board games with little to no element of chance) and motor sports where mental alertness and equipment quality are major factors. Sport is commonly defined as an organized, competitive and skillful physical activity requiring commitment and fair play. Some view sports as differing from games based on the fact that there are usually higher levels of organization and profit (not always monetary) involved in sports. Accurate records are kept and updated for most sports at the highest levels, while failures and accomplishments are widely announced in sport news. Sports are most often played just for fun or for the simple fact that people need exercise to stay in good physical condition. Although they do not always succeed, sports participants are expected to display good sportsmanship, standards of conduct such as being respectful of opponents and officials, and congratulating the winners when losing.

Tasty and healthy food / snacks are available at school canteen for the students as well as teachers at very nominal price. This satisfies not only the students and teachers but also the parents who don’t have to bother for preparing tiffin for the children in the busy hours of morning

The school has well stocked library with more than 4500 books including reference books, story books, books on different academic subjects. Weekly, fortnightly and monthly magazines along with four sets of daily newspapers are available on the stands. The students of different classes avail the library facilities during their library period. Each student is allowed to get at least one book per week issued. Files on quiz questions and project work are also available for ready reference to the teachers and students.

There are two librarians one for the junior section and the other for the senior section to control and keep the library activitities running smoothly throughout the session.

The school has a seek room with two beds for medical emergency of the students. A well stocked first aid box is available for immediate treatment. However the school also has contract with the nursing home just outside the school for major illness/accidents. Time to time medical check up of the students is done by the doctors from M.G.M. College which is situated just opposite the school campus.

The parents are relieved from the tension of taking the children to school personally as the school provides transportation facilities at a very subsidized rate.The school has its own transport division with four buses to ferry students from different parts of the town to and fro school and their residence. This facility provides a secure commuting system, time management and all the necessary care to the students.
