Following these lines of Chandrasekhar Azad, and with the spirit of freedom, R.V.S. Academy organized an online Patriotic Song competition to commemorate the occasion of Independence Day. The competition was organized through the online platform and every participant left the audience and judges in awe.
The occasion was graced by the presence of the honorable chairperson of the school, Mr. Binda Singh; Principal Mrs. Mitali Roy Choudhury, Vice Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra. The judges for this occasion were Mrs. Sharmistha Roy and Mrs. Tripti Dutta Gupta.
The Chairperson of the school not only appreciated each student’s talent but also inspired them to become good human beings and true citizens of India. It was really commendable that though the students were under the restrictions of getting trained through the online platform yet they performed wonderfully. There were two students from each house of class VII. They sang songs like “Mere desh ki dharti sona ugle”, “Teri Mittimein mil jaana” etc.
The programme ended with the declaration of the results and the winners were as follows:
1st– Aman Kumar Nayak – Sunflower House
2nd– Puja Chatterjee – Sunflower House
3rd– Mahashweta Das – Rose House
