RVS Academy celebrated ‘Diwali-Festival of Lights’ with great fanfare and enthusiasm on 3rd November, 2021 in the school campus. To make the students understand the importance of Diwali, the school organized an Art Exhibition based on the theme of Diwali and also had a cultural programme to make this day special. The purpose was to provide limitless opportunities for the creative minds and promote art, craft and culture among the children.
The victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil and hope over despair was uniquely portrayed by the students. They showcased their creativity by making colorful rangolis, decorating diyas, making posters and greeting cards. They sang a song which emphasized on celebrating safe and pollution free Diwali.
The exhibition was graced by the presence of the honorable Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh, the Principal Mrs. Mitali Roy Choudhury, the Vice Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, teachers and students. The creativity and enthusiasm of the participants was highly appreciated by the Chairman, who also motivated the students to value their art and culture and advised them to celebrate a safe and eco-friendly Diwali.
The Principal also appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to participate in similar activities. She also conveyed her Diwali wishes to all.
Everyone enjoyed the event wholeheartedly.
