In the presence of a vibrant, lively and knowledgeable audience, an ASISC Zonal Level Debate Competition for senior category was organized on 26/06/24 in the auditorium of R.V.S. Academy, Dimna Road, Mango, in which participants from nearly 25 schools of Jamshedpur took part.
At the venue, the students were first given the topic for the debate and they were also given one hour time to prepare. The topic for the debate was “Should Animal Testing for Scientific and Commercial Purposes Be Banned?”
The event was inaugurated by the Chairman of the school, Mr. Binda Singh. The Principal
Mrs Veesha Mohindra, Vice Principal, Mrs Anita Tiwari, teachers from eminent schools and students were present.
The Moderator of this
zonal level debate competition included the city’s famous educationist Mrs Jhumjhumi Nandi, Principal, Jusco School Kadma. The panel of Judges included Mrs. Babin Sarkar, Mrs. K. Shaheen and Mr. Shivam Srivastava.They accomplished the difficult task of judging this excellent and high level debate competition with great efficiency. The judges praised the oratory and expression skills of the participants. In his address, the Chairman Mr. Binda Singh praised the impressive oratory skills of all the competing students, appreciated their self-confidence and disciplined behavior. He expressed the hope that this inter-school debate competition will prove to be a milestone which will take the school to new heights of success. He also assured everyone that RVS Academy will continue to make efforts to build a bright future for the students.The Principal of the school, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra also praised the extensive subject knowledge of all the contestants and their skill to communicate their views without hesitation. Organizing such a quality program was a matter of pride for the school, she thanked the school management for their cooperation in successfully conducting this event.
