The Safe Club of RVS Academy along with CII Young Indians conducted a program on Good Touch and Bad Touch in the school Auditorium on Tuesday, 3rd October, 2023 for the students of standard 1 to 5. It was held to create awareness on child safety and to help the students understand the difference between wrong and right and save them from being exploited.
The occasion was graced by the Chairman of the school Mr. Binda Singh, Principal Mrs.Veesha Mohindra, Vice Principal Mrs. Anita Tiwari, teachers and students.
Every child needs to be taught that their body belongs to them and they have a right to protect it. With this in mind, the resource persons DrRachna Nair and Ms.RashmiKauntia conducted interactive sessions to teach the children how to identify the ‘No Touch’ areas and understand who are ‘Safe Adults’ and how to clearly communicate with parents about any bad experience. They also helped the children how to recognise, safeguard and protect themselves against such dangers from an early stage
The Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra appreciated the efforts of the Resource persons for their support to the cause of creating awareness on child safety. A token of gratitude was presented by the Principal to the Resource persons for imparting the valuable knowledge. Overall it was a very interactive and interesting session.
