A session on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was organised by SAFE Club and TATA STEEL FOUNDATION on 4th September, 2022 at RVS ACADEMY. More than 200 senior class students and 55 teachers along with the Chairman of the School Mr. Binda Singh, Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra and Vice Principal, Mrs. Anita Tiwari had participated in this event …. They were educated and given necessary skills and knowledge on how to provide requisite first aid during cardio pulmonary disease in a day to day life. A team of 15 doctors from Tata Main Hospital had given the training. It was an interactive and educative session which raised the knowledge and skill to carry out CPR.
The Chairman of the school Mr. Binda Singh said that such type of CPR school programs focus on a hands-only approach to CPR which is very necessary these days due to increasing stress levels in children and teens. It’s easy to learn, easy to teach, and can help the faculty and students save a life.
