RVS Academy, Dimna Road, Mango, Jamshedpur celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November 2022 with great zeal and enthusiasm. To make the day a memorable one, a special assembly was conducted wherein a series of programs was presented by the teachers and students of the school. The pre primary students came to school in party dress and brought special tiffin.
The Chairman of the school, Mr. Binda Singh conveyed his good wishes and blessings to the students who are the future of the nation and asked them to take inspiration from the life of Nehru. The Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra also encouraged the students to dream big and work hard as they are a priceless resource for the country and represent hope for today and tomorrow. The celebration began with the garlanding of Chacha Nehru’s portrait by the Vice Principal, Mrs. Anita Tiwari, followed by an inspiring speech on Chacha Nehru. A melodious song was performed by the enthusiastic teachers. An inspiring Mime was enacted by the students of Std 7, 8 and 9 and a Choral Recitation was presented by the students of the pre primary section. An interactive Quiz based on the themes of sports, entertainment and current affairs was conducted which was followed by a power packed band performance by the students. The vote of thanks was delivered by the Vice Principal. The program ended on a happy note.
