A Cultural bonanza was organized in the R.V.S.A School premises on the fourth day of the visit of esteemed guests from Consett Academy, Durham, U.K. The programme commenced with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Members of the School Management, the Chairman Mr. Binda Singh, the Secretary Mr. Bharat Singh, the Treasurer Mr. Shatrughan Singh, the Executive member Mr. Shakti Singh, Principal, Mrs. Mitali Roy Choudhury and guests from Consett Academy followed by Shloka recitation and welcome song by the school choir. Fusion dance on Eastern and Western Culture with ethereal music was a pleasure to watch. The programmes showcased a harmonious blend of music, rhythm and dance. The melodious song won the appreciation of the audience. The students also performed optimistic childhood classic, “The Wizard of Oz”. The dance drama on song “Jai Ho” enthralled the gathering. The cultural programme came to an end with School Song followed by National Anthem.
A press conference was also organised in the school auditorium. The guests from U.K interacted with media and readily answered the questions asked by them.
In the evening the guests were taken to Tribal Culture Centre, Biponi Art Store. The fun filled day ended with pleasant memories to cherish.
