R.V.S. Academy, Jamshedpur organised the Inter House Debate Competition for Std IX, X, Xl and XII. The objective of the competition was to instill confidence and to bring all round development in the children.
The Chairman of the school Managing Committee Mr. Binda Singh , Principal Mrs Veesha Mohindra and Vice Principal Mrs Anita Tiwari graced the occasion with their presence.
The competition was divided into two categories . ln both the categories, there were two students each from Rose , Violet, Sunflower and Aster houses .The topic of the Junior Category was ‘Is Artificial Intelligence dangerous? ‘ while the topic for Senior Category was ‘Is animal captivity in zoos ethical ?’
The children wonderfully expressed their views in for and against the motionin a comprehensive. The speakers were judged by the Vice Principal Mrs Anita Tiwari.
The Chairman encouraged the participants and congratulated them for their commendable efforts. The Principal encouraged the students to take part in events which are absolutely mandatory for their all- round development.
The programme ended with the declaration of the results .
