RVS Academy, located on Dimna Road, Mango, Jamshedpur, took a monumental step towards environmental sustainability by organizing an E-Waste Rally on 14th October , 2023. The event was initiated under the able guidance of the school’s Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh, who flagged off the rally, signaling the school’s commitment to fostering eco-consciousness among its students and the community.
The E-Waste Rally saw a massive turnout, with enthusiastic participation from the school’s Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, Vice Principal Mrs. Anita Tiwari, Eco Club moderators, dedicated teachers, enthusiastic students, and other dedicated staff members. This event aims to raise awareness about the critical issue of electronic waste and the importance of responsible disposal and recycling. The Participants in the e-waste rally had spared no effort in showcasing their dedication to the cause. They carried placards and powerful slogans that demand action against electronic waste.
Rally participants wore special badges as a token of appreciation for their commitment to the cause.
The day’s events included a special assembly organized to educate and raise awareness about the importance of responsibly managing e-waste. During the assembly, students and staff were enlightened about the hazardous consequences of improper e-waste disposal and the urgent need to adopt sustainable practices in this digital age.
