The Teachers from R.V.S Academy and Consett Academy, New Castle, Durham, United Kingdom, exchanged different methods of teaching while bringing an international perspective to classrooms and students. The reciprocal benefits could be felt. Different teaching methodologies in both the countries were exhibited. Mr. David Hall, an efficient Geography teacher from Consett Academy taught the students and also explained the economic and social importance of the subject. Miss Susane Murray, a renowned Mathematics teacher from Consett Academy shared tips and knowledge with students and teachers. Teachers from RVS Academy also shared the teaching methods adopted in Indian Class rooms. The students as well as teachers got the exposure to the ideas of inclusion and tolerance and enabled them to think with greater perspective.
The female students from Consett Academy were keen to learn to wear sarees, apply henna on palm. They loved the Indian culture and were happy to drape the saree and wear henna. They also showed good liking for Indian Classical dance.
It was yet another pleasant experience for the guests when they visited RVS College Of Engineering And Technology. The Management, Staff and Students were overwhelmed to welcome the guests from Consett Academy, U.K. It was a fulfilling day for the guests as well as the hosts.
