Smart Interactive boards with state of the art audio visual facilities have been installed in class rooms in collaboration with EduComp to make the teaching learning process more interesting and effective. Students are more engaged, more motivated and more excited about learning. Smart boards have been installed in thirty class rooms. Plans are afoot to install more smart boards in all the class rooms in near future.
Teaching through interactive boards concepts became clearer to the students. It helps not only the students but the teachers too because Digital teaching complements their chalk and board method. However teacher is a medium who makes her/his teaching reach the students effectively by using the modern technology in the class room. This leads to an interactive class session where students are actively involved in the learning process and teachers in the teaching process. This method is more interesting and effective than the usual chalk and talk method. This results in better academic performance.
