R.V.S Academy hosted its highly anticipated Freshers Day on 13th July, 2024 by welcoming the new batch of std XI students with a spectacular showcase of talent, culture and entertainment .
The event was graced by esteemed Chairman of the School Mr. Binda Singh, Secretary Mr Bharat Singh, Treasurer, Mr. Shatrughna Singh, Saurabh Singh, Ayushman Singh, Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, Vice Principal, Mr. Anita Tiwari , teachers and students.
The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the auspicious lamp . The dignitaries of the Management were welcomed with bouquets setting the tone for the festivities. The program began with the welcome speech by Zara Hayat from standard XII A.
The program featured an array of captivating performances, including a soulful group song which was followed by a mesmerizing folk dance leaving the audience enthralled.
This was followed by a stunning ramp walk captivating the attention of the audience present there. The students showcased their talents impressing upon the audience with their confidence and enthusiasm . This was followed by a captivating fusion dance which left the audience spellbound.
The most happening moment was the rigorous session of question and answer round engaging the student with their wit, confidence and enthusiasm. The students were shortlisted on the basis of their walking style, their way of greeting, their dressing sense, and overall gestures.
The most awaited moment finally arrived. After a careful consideration and deliberation by the judges Rudraneel Mukherjee and Riya Sharma were accorded with the title of Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher respectively by the Chairman Mr. Binda Singh and Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra. They were given crown, bouquets, sash and gifts.
Asir Tufail and Rashmi Singh were given sash for well dressed up. Tr. Sonali and Tr. Anjana were the judges. The winners beamed with the well-deserved awards. The Chairman Mr. Binda Singh congratulated the beaming winners for their hard work and dedication. He insisted the students to embrace their unique strength and talents to make the most of their time at the school. Wishing them good luck for their future endeavours, he expressed that these titles are a testament to their talent and personality.
At the end, the choir group of the school presented the school song followed by the National Anthem.
The event concluded with a sense of Joy, excitement and anticipation for the year ahead.
