The 78th Independence Day celebration at R.V.S. Academy, Dimna Road, Mango, Jamshedpur, was marked by grandeur and enthusiasm. The event took place in the expansive campus of the academy, where the national flag was saluted with a deep sense of patriotism, accompanied by inspiring speeches, melodious musical performances, and vibrant dances that celebrated the spirit of freedom.
On this auspicious occasion, the school family, including the school’s Chairman Mr. Binda Singh, Secretary Mr. Bharat Singh, Executive Committee Members Mr. Shakti Singh, Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, Vice Principal Mrs. Anita Tiwari, members of the teaching staff, office staff, students, and parents were present.
The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag by the Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh, followed by the reverberating notes of the national anthem as the flag was saluted. Mr. Binda Singh then inspected the impressive march-past performed by all four houses of the school. In his address, he emphasized the significance of independence and the responsibility it places on each citizen to contribute to the nation’s progress.
Following this, the school’s Secretary, Mr. Bharat Singh, addressed the gathering, describing true patriotism as fulfilling one’s duties towards the nation. He inspired everyone to embody diligence and dedication in their respective fields, urging them to adopt a committed and conscientious approach.
The Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, delivered a powerful speech highlighting the theme of this year’s Independence Day: “Developed India.” She beautifully shared the glorious history of India’s development, emphasizing the significance of freedom and its enduring importance. She also extended heartfelt wishes to everyone present for the Independence Day being celebrated during the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
