Hindi Diwas is celebrated across the country on 14th September to mark the popularity of Hindi as an official language of India.
RVS Academy celebrates this day every year to inculcate love for the Hindi language and to understand the significance of Hindi in our culture. The Chairman of the school, Mr Binda Singh, Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra and Vice Principal Mrs. Anita Tiwary graced the occasion with their presence.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries followed by a prayer to invoke the Lord’s blessings. After which Students recited Dohas of famous poets, followed by a speech which was delivered by Pratibha Kumari and Siddharth Raj of std. IX , giving a very brief introduction to the nuances of celebrating Hindi Divas and significance of Hindi Language. Students of Std VII, performed a mesmerizing dance and song which was melodious and entertaining. Students of Std. IV and V recited their Hindi poems in a unique manner during Choral Recitation. The serious moments were lightened up with the fun filled skit performance of our Std. VIII and Std. IX students.
The vote of thanks was delivered by a Std IX student. The entire program for the day was wonderfully organised and led by our school’s Hindi Department. The program was a grand success and very much appreciated for its ingenuity, entertainment quotient and efficiency.
