A grand program was organized in the RVS Academy campus on the occasion of Navratri and Durga Puja.
RVS Academy came alive with the spirit of Navratri as students, teachers, and esteemed guests gathered to celebrate the festival with great fervor. The event featured an array of vibrant and traditional activities, marking the joyous occasion.
Maa Jagadambe, who grants good fortune to all in the three worlds was worshipped to honor the divine feminine and promote cultural heritage among students.
It is also to teach to adopt the life values of respect. The program was inaugurated by the Chairman of the school, Mr. Binda Singh, by lighting the lamp. The entire auditorium filled with devotion. On this occasion, Principal of the school, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, Vice Principal Mrs. Anita Tiwari, all members of the teaching fraternity and students were present.
The Chairman of the school, Mr. Binda Singh, while paying his respects to the Goddess Durga, wished Navratri and Dussehra to all the members of the school family and inspired them to imbibe the welfare nature of the mother and adopt her precious life values.
Students from classes 6th to 9th participated in the Navratri program and first presented a short speech based on the nine forms of Maa Durga through English and Hindi language, which was informative and inspirational.
The Navratri celebration at RVS Academy showcased a rich blend of cultural performances, including the energetic Garba dance, the rhythmic Dhanuchi dance, and the captivating enactment of Mahishasur Vadha, a mythological representation of good prevailing over evil. The performances were a testament to the dedication and talent of the students who put their heart and soul into each act.
The melodious tunes of devotional songs filled the air, and the vibrant colors of traditional attire added to the festive atmosphere. The Navratri celebration at RVS Academy truly served as a platform for students to not only showcase their talents but also connect with their cultural heritage.
