R.V.S Academy, Dimna road, Mango, proudly hosted its 23rd annual sports day on 16th December 2023, a vibrant celebration of athleticism and team spirit . The event kicked off with a grand inauguration by the esteemed chief guest ADC Jaideep Tigga, Jharkhand, who inspired participants and spectators alike with his motivational speech. The school chairman Mr. Binda Singh, secretary Mr. Bharat Singh, treasurer Mr. Shatrughan Singh and the members of the school management committee, Principal Ms Veesha Mohindra, vice principal Mrs. Anita Tiwari and many important and honoured citizens of the town graced the occasion with their benign presence.
The highlight of the day was the breathtaking March past presented by the Rose, Violet sunflower and Aster houses. It was sight to behold, a display of impeccable coordination and enthusiasm, setting the stage for an electrifying day ahead. The torchbearers for the occasion were the athletes who have represented the school at the state level. The sporting extravaganza featured a diverse range of events catering to participants across the junior, senior and super senior categories. From sprints to relays, each event showcased the incredible talent and competitive spirit of the students.
The junior students presented mesmerizing drills showcasing breathtaking coordination and discipline in their colourful attire.
To honour the outstanding achievements, the winners were awarded in a ceremony that marked the culmination of the day filled with excitement. Mr. Rishabha Garg IPS (Rural, S.P), 2019 batch was the honoured guest for the closing ceremony. The chairman of the school declared the meet closed. The sports day ended with the declaration of the best March past, best athlete in all categories and overall champions.
The school extends its gratitude to the chief guest Mr. Risabha Garg and everyone else for gracing the occasion and contributing to the success of the event. R.V.S Academy is a dynamic educational institution, committed to nurturing excellence in academics, sports and character development . With the focus on holistic education, the school aims to prepare students for success in rapidly changing world. The events ended with the school song and national anthem.
