Festivals and programmes are the thread that ties communities together and reflects students’ voices, life experience, hopes and dreams. It was a proud moment for R.V.S. Academy to host the Youth Festival for two days .The events highlighted the best in area of creativity on the theme –Sawan.
Keeping the tradition of celebrating school life, the programme began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by bouquet presentation felicitations to the school Chairman Mr.Binda Singh, Members of Executive committee Mr.Shatrughan Singh and Mr.Shakti Singh,Principal Mrs. V.Chhaya Das, Vice–Principal Mrs Mitali Roy Choudhury and teachers. Professor Abira Das Gupta ,Professor Poulumi Ganguly ,Dr.Sudhir Jha,Professor Shalini Kumari, Dr.Rekha Tiwari were the honourable judges.
The On Stage programme began with the English Choral recitation followed by the group dances, solo dances and solo singing. The students spread the magic in the air by giving a tough competition to their competitors leaving the audience spellbound.
The off Stage Programme proved to be a platform for the students to showcase their talents. The 1st competition began with the fragrance of flowers “The Rangoli with petals”, followed by Mehendi competition, Rakhi Making and painting which displayed their talents of sketching and shading.
