Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters.With the view to celebrate the occasion and to enhance creativity among the students , RVS Academy organized
Rakhi making competition in the school premises. The Rakhis made by school children will be sent to the soldiers deployed at the border and remote areas. On this occasion the Chairman of the school Mr. Binda Singh, Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, Vice-Principal, Mrs. Anita Tiwari, teachers and students were present.
The Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh said that it is a great initiative to celebrate the festival of love and bonding between brothers and sisters. The gesture to send Rakhis to the soldiers posted at the borders marks as a solidarity and respect to the real heroes.
The Children enthusiastically participated in the inter house Rakhi making competition.They used decorative threads, stars, mirrors, pearls, flowers,etc to make beautiful Rakhis.
Certificates were awarded to the winners of the competition. The winners are as follows :
