To Promote Road Safety, RVS Academy organised Safety Rally
In an effort to instill a sense of responsibility and awareness about road safety among its students and the community, RVS Academy organized a Safety Rally. The event was inaugurated with great enthusiasm and commitment by the Chairman of the school, Mr. Binda Singh, who has always been an advocate for road safety.
The primary objective of the Safety Rally was to raise awareness about the importance of road safety and to educate students and the local community about the various measures that can be taken to prevent accidents on the road. With the increasing number of accidents on the roads, it has become imperative to impart road safety education from an early age.
The event commenced with the Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh, flagging off the rally in the presence of the school Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, Trustee of RVS Educational Trust, Ms. Sonali Deb, staff and students. Mr. Binda Singh’s presence and active participation underscored the school’s commitment to promoting road safety.
The rally followed a designated route within the vicinity of the school. Participants, including students from various classes, teachers, and volunteers, carried placards and banners with slogans emphasizing the importance of road safety. The route was carefully chosen to simulate real-life road conditions, making it a practical learning experience.
Along the route, several awareness activities were organized. Students presented skits, speeches, and demonstrations on topics like the proper use of helmets, seat belts, and pedestrian safety. These interactive sessions engaged the audience and effectively conveyed the message of road safety.
The rally also witnessed active participation from the local community. Residents and parents joined in, showing their support for the cause. This community involvement was essential in reinforcing the message of road safety beyond the school premises.
RVS Academy’s Safety Rally was a resounding success in its mission to promote road safety awareness. It not only educated students but also engaged the local community in taking collective responsibility for safer roads. The event’s highlight was Mr. Binda Singh’s presence and his symbolic flag-off, signifying the school’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety of its students and the broader community. This rally was a step forward in creating a safer and more responsible generation of road users.
