Dimna Road, Mango, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand – June 22, 2024: RVS Academy proudly announces the inauguration of its cutting-edge Robotics Lab, a significant step towards fostering innovation and practical learning among its students. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Binda Singh, Chairman of RVS Academy, who officially opened the lab by cutting the ribbon.
The event saw the participation of prominent members of the school management and faculty, including Mr. Bharat Singh (Secretary), Mr. Shatrughan Singh (Treasurer), Mr. Shakti Singh, (Member of the Executive Committee), Mr. Saurabh Singh, Ms. Shipra Singh, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari (Principal of RVS College of Engineering and Technology), Mr. Vikram Sharma (Head, Training and Placement, RVSCET), Mrs. Veesha Mohindra (Principal of RVS Academy), and Mrs. Anita Tiwari (Vice Principal). Teachers and students also attended the ceremony, reflecting the strong community spirit of the academy.
The Robotics Lab at RVS Academy is designed to meet the rigorous requirements of the ICSE syllabus, equipped with advanced software tools such as Python IDE, Arduino IDE, and Tinker CAD. These tools will enable students to delve into the realms of artificial intelligence and robotics, providing them with a solid foundation in these cutting-edge fields.
In addition to the software, the lab features a comprehensive array of hardware for hands-on experimentation. The smart robotics kit includes microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, displays, motors, wheels, batteries, and chargers. Essential tools such as soldering irons, glue guns, pliers, screwdriver sets, and multimeters are also available, ensuring students have everything they need to bring their projects to life.
Specifically designed to support Class 9 syllabus experiments, the lab encourages students to engage in practical and innovative learning experiences. During the inaugural event, several impressive project prototypes were showcased, including a quadcopter, hexacopter, smart dustbin, electric vehicle, robotic arm, Bluetooth car, and line follower car. These projects highlighted the potential and creativity of the students, promising a bright future in the fields of robotics and technology.
