In celebration of the 78th Independence Day, a patriotic song competition was organized on Monday at R.V.S. Academy, Mango. The competition took place among the four houses of the school: Rose House, Violet House, Sunflower House, and Aster House. Each house was divided into two groups.
The event was graced by the presence of the school’s Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh, the Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, the Vice-Principal, Mrs. Anita Tiwari, along with teachers and students. In his address, Mr. Binda Singh described the students as the future of the nation and emphasized that they are the ones who can contribute to the country’s progress. The primary objective of the competition was to instil a sense of patriotism and love for the country in the students, helping them understand the significance of independence.
All the participants performed with deep emotion, showcasing their talents and captivating the audience with patriotic songs. The judges selected the winners based on the best performances. In this competition, Violet House was declared the winner, while Sunflower House was the runner-up. The Principal congratulated all participants and winners, encouraging them with an inspiring speech to work for the betterment of the nation.
