RVS Academy observed the world cancer day through a special assembly conducted by the students.
The Special Assembly consisted a speech on the importance of world cancer day and a Hindi poem to encourage prevention of cancer and also to stay strong to fight this disease.
The presence of the Chairman of the school, Mr. Binda Singh, the Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, Vice Principal, Mrs. Anita Tiwari, teachers and students made this day meaningful.
The programme ended with the valuable words of the Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh whoasked the students to stay away from any habits which might be the cause of cancer. He said that we all should be aware about cancer detection and its prevention as awareness is the only way to prevent cancer. If cancer is detected on time, it can be cured. The Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra appreciated the efforts of the children to bring awareness among people about such incurable disease.
