To bring out the latent capabilities of the youngsters , RVS Academy, Mango, held a two days youth festival at the school premises. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the secretary of the school Mr. Bharat Singh, the members of the Executive committee Mr.Shatrughan Singh , Mr. Shakti Singh, the school Principal Mrs. V. Chhaya Das, the Vice Principal Mrs. Mitali Roy Choudhury and other dignitaries present for the occasion. On the first day the events were divided into two categories for Inter – House competition. The on stage activities included Western and Eastern Dance Competition, which brought forth the inherent passion in the students. The Hindi skit competition on the theme “ Save the girl child” highlighted the evils prevalent in the society. The solo Western Song Competition touched the hearts of the audiences.
The Off – Stage activities like Collage Competition , the Soap and the flower decoration and Best out of Waste Competition was a humble effort to recognize the student’s hidden talents, to encourage in them the sprit of healthy competition to cultivate all round personalities and to help them achieve success through activities. The programme was anchored by Saifeen Naaz a student of X B and Vanshika Surekha of XI C.
The judges for the day were Ms. Abira Dasgupta, Asst professor Computer Science and Engineering and Mr. Ranjan Kumar Asst. Professor Mechanical and Engineering RVSCET. The first day programme ended with National Anthem.
