“Safety Week” was organized by R.V.S. Academy, Mango, Jamshedpur, from 29th April to 8th May, 2019 to highlight the importance of safety in all spheres of life, so as to prevent mishap and accidents resulting out of lack of awareness.
With increasing incidents of road rage accidents, unsafe driving practices, it is imperative to educate people on safety. Under the supervision of the Safe Club moderator and the members of the club, the students had organized the Safety Week from 29th April to 8th May, 2019 (with the exclusion of the two days apprehending the cyclone Foni). Besides, in co-operating safety on road the club had taken endeavor to educate teachers and students safety inside the campus.
Keeping in mind Health and Hygiene in the canteen and good sanitation, which should be an ideal prevailing situation in the school campus, the students supervised the food and cleanliness of the canteen. The abilities of the children were enhanced through collage making. The Safety Week also emphasized strongly on the preachers to become the best example of safety followers by out rightly using helmets not only throughout the week, but also on every single ride that they take. The children spread the message of usage of helmets. They checked effectively at the gate when teachers, students and parents entered the campus.
A skit was enacted in the special assembly was conducted for the purpose of spreading awareness on safety in different fields of life.
The efforts of the Safe Club was appreciated by the management committee and the principal of the school.
