Swachhata Pakhwada, an initiative by the Indian Government aims at bringing intense focus on the issues and practices of Swachhata by engaging the schools and its students in spreading awareness about swachhata in our surroundings.
R.V.S Academy, always a lighthouse, has been exemplary in participating in this campaign to spread awareness about personal hygiene and Covid protocol. It has taken up these activities as a core discipline and enlighten not only the students but also their families, neighbourhood and the society as a whole. With the expert guidance of the chairman Mr. Binda Singh and the principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra various activities were conducted to highlight the importance of self-care and hygiene.
The school students took a Swachhata Shapath during a special assembly where speeches prepared by the students reiterated the importance of cleanliness in all spheres. A parent teacher meeting was conducted to make them aware about cleanliness and Covid protocol among children and adults. A painting competition and exhibition based on the same was held where children participated wholeheartedly. The Hand Wash Day was celebrated to teach the students the importance of the same.Through smart classes the students were enlightened about the personal hygiene and cleanliness around them.They were also taught about the importance of water in our daily life through quiz during the special assembly.At last a group discussion was held to discuss on the future plans on the same among the students.
Various other activities are being conducted to highlight the importance of clean environment. The school will continue its drive to educate good hygienic habits among its children.
