Tree plantation drive was carried out enthusiastically for a week at R.V.S Academy, Dimna Road, Mango, Jamshedpur. All the students took part actively in the program. On this occasion, The chairman of the school, Mr. Binda Singh, Principal ,Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, Vice- Principal, Mrs. Anita Tiwari, teachers and students were present.
The chairman of the school conveyed the message that we should add life to the environment by planting more and more trees. He specified that tree plantation is the best practice. The Principal of the school said that as trees are a key to healthy planet we should adopt several measures to protect it. She even appreciated the efforts of the students to make the program successful.
The students of pre primary showcased their talents by art ,thereby, mentioning the usefulness of trees. A special Assembly was held on this occasion. The students presented very informative speech both in English and Hindi. Nukkad Natak was presented by the students of standard 7 and 8 which was an eye catching event. The students visited nearby village Devghar Panchayat and through the Nukkad Natak presentation made the villagers aware of the drive. They even tied bands on the wrists of the villagers and motivated them in building a strong bond between human and nature.
