RVS Academy, Dimna, Mango organized a Winter Mela with zest and fervor on Friday , 23rd December, 2022 in the school playground. The entire ground buzzed with various activities, decorated food stalls, different games and enjoyable music. The Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh performed the ribbon cutting ceremony and inaugurated the grand Winter Mela. The Secretary, Mr. Bharat Singh, Treasurer, Mr. Shatrughan Singh, Executive Member Mr. Shakti Singh, MS. Sonali Deb , Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, Vice Principal, Mrs. Anita Tiwary, Coordinators and teachers were part of the inaugural ceremony amidst loud cheering from students, staff members and parents spreading the message of fraternity and togetherness. There was a unique spark in the school. Students from Nursery to Std XII wholeheartedly took part in it along with their parents and guardians. The mela witnessed myriad of inviting stalls put up by the four Houses namely Rose, Violet, Sunflower and Aster. Food stalls included pav bhaji, litti chokha, idli, dosa, hot fritters, golgappa, papri chaat, chhole bhature, chowmein, fried rice, Manchurian, ice cream, dry snacks and many more. Yummy multi-cuisine stole everybody’s heart as all delicacies were very delicious and nostril assailing aroma from various stalls made the crowd go drooling.
Tattoo corner, live performance, different games stalls ,which included flip the coin, fixing the pasta, roll the balls, blow out to be lucky etc.Request corner with thumping DJ music made everybody swirl and groove. The Christmas Corner was the centre of attraction. Every stakeholder present in the school premises enjoyed the day. Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for a touch of a friendly hand…This is what RVS Academy’s Winter Mela was all about.
