WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY was observed at RVS ACADEMY on 10TH September, 2022 to raise awareness of suicide globally ,especially among youngsters.
The occasion was graced in the presence of School Chairman Mr. Binda Singh, School Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, School Vice-Principal Mrs. Anita Tiwari, teachers and students. The school Chairman in his speech address the gathering to promote preventive measures with the aim to reduce the number of suicides and suicidal attempts globally.
The students of STD IX had put up various programmes which included speech (both Hindi and English), poem and Nukkad Natak (SKIT) which were very interesting and informative. The Principal in her speech encouraged the children to be positive all the time and in every situation, to facilitate open discussion at home, at school or any other workplace etc. The day ended with a melodious and positive hymn.
